In 2018 we started fostering for a local animal rescue. Over the next three years we would foster over 150 dogs, experience raising 4 separate momma dogs and their litters, 2 foster fails, vetting adopters, and so much more. After all of this, we realized we had a passion for the animal rescue world. In 2021 we decided that we were going to do something with that passion. Thus JJC Animal Rescue was born!
Fostering momma dogs and their litters became our favorite part of rescuing. It is such a unique experience that you cannot find anywhere else. We decided that our rescue will be devoted to those momma dogs and their litters. There is no better feeling than seeing a one week old puppy grow up and strive in their forever home.
We are a small foster based animal rescue, meaning we do not have a physical building where we house our pets. They are all housed in our personal homes.
We strongly believe in our mission statement, “It is not about a home but the home.” Not every dog is the right fit for every family and we do our absolute best to ensure your new addition is the perfect fit!

Jett
Jett was our first foster fail. In the summer of 2019, we received a group of puppies from North Carolina and among them was Jett. He was a six month old terrified puppy. We were unable to go near him without him urinating on himself out of fear. It became apparent that he probably had no interaction with humans before coming to us. After many months of rehabbing him and getting him ready for a forever home, we decided his forever home was with us. Jett is one of the most gentle giants someone could ever meet. Now people are his favorite thing!

Juno
Juno came to us as a foster with a litter of seven puppies. The day she came through the front door she was the happiest dog we had ever seen. Usually, mom dogs are very nervous since they were just transported here with their newborn babies, but not Juno. She loves everyone and everything, a pure attention hog. One of the founders of JJC Animal Rescue, fell in love with Juno and could not let her go, let’s be honest, what’s one more!

Coco
Coco was our first dog. After many months of begging for a dog and putting pictures of Coco on every cabinet someone opened, we finally got her. Although, not adopted, Coco definitely saved us. The year we got Coco was a hard year, losing a close family member, she kept everyone’s spirits up. Coco is the sassiest of the bunch, small at only six pounds, she thinks she is the boss.
Coco has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, she will truly be missed.
